Function and Purpose: The backwash filter is suitable for the removal of mechanical impurities in various water supply systems, process water systems, and HVAC circulating water systems. Especially, this equipment does not affect the continuous operation of the entire system during the filtering and draining process.

High filtration precision: Minimum can reach d=0.5mm, excellent backwashing effect.
Large water processing capacity: Adopts a cross-sectional wedge-shaped filter, not prone to debris entrapment, with a large water flow and low resistance. Under normal conditions, the resistance is ≤0.02MPa.
Long service life: Stainless steel filter and carbon steel shell contribute to a service life of up to 30 years.
High comprehensive efficiency: Can perform drainage backwashing during system operation without the need for a bypass, and no frequent replacement of the filter is required. Simple installation, operation, and minimal maintenance workload.

Structure and Principle: The filter consists of a carbon steel barrel, wedge-shaped stainless steel strip filter, butterfly valve, and drainage device. During normal operation, the butterfly valve is in the open state, and drainage is closed, with fluid flowing from the inlet through the filter and out from the outlet. When drainage is needed, the butterfly valve is closed, the drainage valve is opened, water flows through the front half of the filter, backwashing the rear half of the filter, and impurities collected on the filter are backwashed into the drainage pipe valve and discharged from the system. After draining, open the butterfly valve, close the drainage valve, and return to normal filtering status. The entire process allows the system to operate normally without stopping. For filters with DN300 and above, there is a large particle dirt removal device at the front.
