Suction Type Self Cleaning Filter
Working Principle:
Raw water enters the self cleaning filter through the inlet and first passes through the coarse filter element, which removes larger particulate impurities. It then reaches the fine filter mesh, where smaller particles are filtered out, and clean water exits through the outlet. During the filtration process, impurities gradually accumulate on the inner layer of the fine filter mesh, creating a pressure difference between the inner and outer sides.
When this pressure difference reaches a preset value, the filter automatically initiates the cleaning process. The drain valve opens, releasing pressure from the hydraulic motor chamber and hydraulic cylinder, allowing water to be discharged. The pressure in the hydraulic motor chamber and the suction pipe drops significantly, and due to the negative pressure, impurities on the inner wall of the fine filter mesh are sucked up through the suction nozzles and flow into the hydraulic motor chamber, then discharged through the drain valve, creating a suction cleaning process.
As water flows through the hydraulic motor of the filter, it drives the suction pipe to rotate, while the hydraulic cylinder piston moves the suction pipe axially. This combination of axial and rotational movements of the suction assembly ensures that the entire inner surface of the filter mesh is thoroughly cleaned.
The entire cleaning process lasts for several seconds.
At the end of the cleaning cycle, the drain valve closes, and the increased water pressure returns the hydraulic cylinder piston to its initial position, preparing the filter for the next cleaning cycle.
During the cleaning process, the filter continues its normal filtration operation without interruption.
