The scraper-type self-cleaning filter is suitable not only for separating solids from low-viscosity liquids but also for separating solids from high-viscosity liquids.

Working Process:

Filtration: The fluid to be filtered is forced into the internal chamber of the filter. The fluid passes through the filter element from the inside to the outside. Impurities larger than the gaps in the filter element are trapped on the inner surface of the filter mesh, while the clarified fluid passes through the gaps and is discharged from the outlet.

Self-Cleaning: A cleaning disc equipped with a spring moves up and down inside the filter element to remove the filter cake accumulated on the inner surface of the filter mesh.

During the downward movement of the cleaning disc, any remaining filter cake is driven into the sediment collection chamber, making it easy to remove thoroughly.
During the upward movement of the cleaning disc, the filter cake is scraped off from the surface of the filter mesh.
