What are Key Features of the Self Cleaning Filter

**01

High Level of Automation of the Self Cleaning Filter — No Manual Intervention Required**

The entire process — impurity detection → cleaning initiation → flushing → reset — is fully automated through the control system (PLC + sensors).
No manual disassembly or screen cleaning is required, significantly reducing labor intensity for operation and maintenance personnel.

The differential pressure threshold (e.g., 0.05–0.1 MPa) and cleaning cycle can be adjusted based on actual water quality conditions to suit different operating environments.

**02

Continuous Operation — No Shutdown Risk**

Designed for online cleaning, the system does not need to be shut down during the cleaning process, nor does the fluid supply need to be interrupted.
(Some models achieve this through bypass piping or segmented screen designs.)

This eliminates the downtime caused by traditional manual filters that require disassembly and cleaning, making it ideal for systems that cannot be interrupted.

**03

Adjustable Filtration Accuracy — Wide Application Range**

Filtration accuracy ranges from 5–3000 μm, selectable according to downstream equipment requirements
(e.g., 5–50 μm for precision equipment, 100–500 μm for pipeline protection).

Filter screen materials include stainless steel (304, 316L), wedge wire, and sintered mesh, offering strong corrosion and wear resistance — suitable for clean water, slightly oily water, and weak acid/alkaline fluids.

**04

Low Maintenance Cost — Long Service Life**

No consumables are required (the filter screen can be repeatedly cleaned and reused).
Only periodic inspection of the cleaning mechanism and seals is needed, making operating costs much lower than disposable or manually cleaned filters.

High-strength filter screens are clog-resistant and impact-resistant, with a typical service life of 5–8 years under normal operating conditions.

**05

Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly — Low Water and Energy Consumption**

The backwash/cleaning process uses very little water — only 0.5%–1% of the total flow
(some models as low as 0.1%), far lower than the water consumption of traditional disassembly-and-rinse filters.

The cleaning mechanism requires minimal power (typically tens to a few hundred watts), reducing energy consumption and avoiding the additional energy costs associated with manual cleaning.

**06

Strong Anti-Fouling Capability — Suitable for Complex Water Conditions**

The filter screen structure (e.g., wedge wire’s “wide outside, tight inside” design) resists clogging and can handle fluids with higher concentrations of suspended solids, such as sandy water and industrial circulating water.

Some models support high-temperature (≤120°C) and high-pressure (≤4.0 MPa) conditions, suitable for demanding applications such as pumped-storage hydropower and thermal power plants.

**07

Compact Structure — Easy to Install**

The integrated design offers a small footprint and lightweight structure, occupying only 1/3–1/2 of the space of traditional filters.

Supports vertical or horizontal installation and can be easily connected to existing pipelines without major modifications — ideal for equipment rooms with limited space.
