How to Use Self Cleaning Filter
A self-cleaning filter is a precision device that uses a filter screen to directly capture impurities in water, removing suspended solids, particulates, and reducing turbidity. It purifies water quality, reduces system fouling, bacterial and algal growth, and corrosion, helping to maintain water purity and protect the proper functioning of other system equipment.
Water enters the self-cleaning filter body through the inlet, and with intelligent (PLC, PAC) design, the system can automatically detect the degree of impurity deposition and send a signal to the drain valve for full automatic drainage.
The self-cleaning filter is widely used in the water treatment industry. Its simple design and effective performance achieve optimal filtration for wastewater.
Main Components: motor, electrical control box, control piping, main component assembly, filter element assembly, 316L stainless steel brushes, frame assembly, drive shaft, inlet and outlet flanges, among others.
The self-cleaning filter overcomes the limitations of traditional filtration products, such as limited contaminant holding capacity, clogging susceptibility, the need for manual cleaning of the filter elements, and the inability to monitor filter status. It features automatic filtration of raw water and automatic cleaning of the filter element. During cleaning and drainage, the system provides uninterrupted water supply and monitors the filter's operational status with a high degree of automation.
The self-cleaning filter operates and controls itself without any external power, automatically cleaning and draining. During backwashing, there is no interruption of flow, the cleaning cycle is adjustable, and the default self-cleaning cycle lasts 10-60 seconds, with cleaning water loss accounting for only 0.08-0.6% of the filtered water volume.
Filtration accuracy ranges from 10μm to 3000μm, and it can operate at pressures up to 1.0-1.6 MPa, with a single-unit flow capacity of 4-4160 m³/h.
The filter can be installed in any orientation—vertical, horizontal, or inverted—and is suitable for water filtration in industries such as industrial, agricultural, municipal power, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, dyeing, construction, steel, metallurgy, and paper-making.
