How to Select a Self Cleaning
The brush-type self-cleaning filter is a precision device that uses a filter screen to directly intercept impurities in the water, remove suspended solids and particles, reduce turbidity, purify water quality, and minimize the formation of fouling, microorganisms, algae, and corrosion. Its purpose is to purify the water and protect the normal operation of other equipment in the system.
Working Principle
The fully automatic brush-type self-cleaning filter consists of a stainless-steel filter screen, stainless-steel brushes, and transmission components. The cleaning and discharge process is automatically completed by a drive motor and an electric valve. The unit can operate automatically (with an option for manual operation) and features both differential-pressure and timed automatic discharge functions.
When water flows through the filter, impurities are intercepted by the screen. As these accumulate on the filter surface, the pressure difference increases until it reaches the preset value. At this point, the differential-pressure switch sends a signal, the drive motor is activated, and the drain valve opens. The rotating brushes then remove the impurities from the filter screen, discharging them through the drain outlet. The entire cleaning and discharge process requires no manual operation and no system downtime. Additionally, the filter is equipped with both timed cleaning/discharge and manual cleaning/discharge functions.
