The Fully Automatic Backwash Filter is a highly efficient water treatment device widely used in agricultural irrigation, industrial water treatment, and as a pre-treatment step in water processing systems.

Working Principle

The fully automatic backwash filter removes suspended solids, sediment, and microorganisms from the water using filter media. As water passes through the media, suspended solids are trapped, sediment is absorbed, and microorganisms may be eliminated by the sterilizing effect of the media.

As filtration progresses, impurities gradually accumulate on the surface of the media. Once a certain level of accumulation is reached, the system automatically initiates the backwash process, using filtered water to flush the media in reverse, discharging the impurities and restoring the filter's effectiveness.
