How to Install and Operate the Self Cleaning Filter

The self-cleaning filter is connected to the user’s pipeline through a flange connection. Follow the directional arrow marked on the filter body when connecting the pipeline.

The inlet and outlet flanges are designed with a movable structure, allowing free rotation to adjust the orientation of the bolt holes, which makes on-site installation more convenient.
During production, the flange surfaces are carefully protected to ensure the integrity of the sealing surface, thereby guaranteeing no leakage during installation and operation.

Filtration Process

During operation, impurities gradually accumulate on the inner layer of the filter screen, forming a pressure difference between the inner and outer sides.
When this pressure difference reaches the preset value, the system automatically initiates the self-cleaning process.
Through a high-efficiency mechanical brush or scraper mechanism, suspended solids and particle impurities adhering to the filter element surface are automatically removed.

With the intelligent control system (PLC or PAC), the unit can automatically detect the degree of impurity buildup and send a signal to the drain valve for fully automatic discharge.

Material and Durability

The filter housing, filter screen, and cleaning brushes are all made of stainless steel (SS304 or SS316L).
This ensures excellent resistance to wear and corrosion, prevents surface scratches and rust during filtration and cleaning, and greatly extends the service life of the equipment.
