How Many Types of Back Wash Filter
Backwash filtration can generally be divided into automatic backwash filter and manual backwash filter.

Laminated backwash filter
Generally composed of plastic material, the filter is in the form of lamination.
Different from the stainless steel lamination form, such laminations are made of plastic laminations, and the grooves on the laminations are the precision of the filtration.

Laminated backwash filter can only be applied to the filtration of low viscosity media

Tubular backwash filter
Tubular backwash filter can generally be divided into two filtration forms of internal backwash and external backwash.
Internal backwash relies on the internal pressure of water for backwashing, no need for external clean water cleaning.
External backwash generally requires external clean water cleaning and flushing.

- Solid removal from 1 to 1700 microns
- A wide selection of filter media materials and retention Suitable for a wide range of applications
- Reduce the amount of backwash wastewater to a minimum ( <2% of system volume)
- Pipe and nozzle connection transitions to avoid dead spots in fluid flow and minimize pressure drop
- Independent top-to-bottom backwash process enables fully efficient media cleaning while continuing to supply filtration product downstream
